The Society for Decision Making Under Deep Uncertainty is pleased to announce that we plan to hold our 2022 Annual Meeting on Nov 9-11 in Mexico City. This will be an opportunity to meet in person again and the first time that the annual meeting will be held outside the US and Europe. This is going to be an important event for our Society as it continues to grow stronger, and we are looking forward to this opportunity.

The organizing committee has prepared a website: https://www.2022dmdu.org/ containing useful information about the venue, key dates for submitting your work and information on planning your attendance.

The theme of this year’s annual meeting is “Transformative Recovery and Forging Anew”. If you have an exciting topic or idea for this year’s annual meeting that you would like us to consider, please feel free to send your suggestions to: meeting@deepuncertainty.org. Also note that beginning in March 2022 instructions for abstract submissions and participating in this year’s summer school will be posted on the annual meeting’s website.

While we recognize that planning for an in-person meeting amid the pandemic outbreak is challenging, we are planning for a very flexible participation scheme that will allow both in-person and remote participation. Additionally, we will implement recommended WHO health protocols to safeguard our community.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at meeting@deepuncertainty.org if you have any questions.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in November.
