PhD and Postdoc positions on adaptive planning

The Infrastructure Management Group, led by Prof. Bryan T. Adey, at ETH Zürich is looking to fill one PhD and one Post-Doc position on “Adaptive Planning of Transport Infrastructure under Uncertainty”. The positions will be based in Singapore and are part of the new “Adaptive Mobility, Land Use and Infrastructure” project from the Future Cities Lab Global (FCL) programme.

It is a great opportunity to explore Land Use, Transportation and Infrastructure dynamics for uncertain future scenarios and apply decision-making under deep uncertainty methods for adaptive planning. The candidates are expected to participate in workshops with Singaporean planning agencies and to work closely with other members of the team who will focus on developing social networks surveys, choice modelling and agent-based models (MATSIM).
