The Department of Management Science has a vibrant intellectual culture and our academic staff have a strong record of both publication and generating funding through research and knowledge exchange activities. Our teaching portfolio includes an undergraduate principal subject in the BA in the Strathclyde Business School as well as our MSc in Data Analytics and MSc Business Analysis and Consulting. A MSc Financial Technology is jointly offered with the Department of Accounting and Finance.
We are seeking to appoint staff in three areas to deepen and complement existing expertise:
• Scenario planning and strategic foresight
• Analytics and machine learning
• Fintech and blockchain technologies
Candidates should be keen to engage with the Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID). The GCID is a major strategic initiative of the University, and is the result of a successful partnership between Glasgow City Council, the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Enterprise, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurial Scotland.
